deepika-ranveer.jpg (300×200)With Navratri fever setting in, Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, India's leading radio station, is set to give the nation a new anthem today as the desi Ram ( Ranveer Singh) and Leela ( Deepika Padukone) along with director-cum-music director Sanjay Leela Bhansali unfold the grand opulence of Ram-Leela for the first time on airwaves.

The station will exclusively launch the film's songs through Mirchi Music Premier all day today, including Bhansali's personal favourite Lahoo Mooh Lag Gaya.

Set the frequency of your radio to 98.3 FM all day today and catch your favourite RJs unravel the mystery behind the sizzling chemistry between Ram and Leela.

The duo will reveal the challenges they faced while shooting dance sequences in the extreme conditions of Rajasthan and Gujarat. Ranveer and Deepika had to sweat it out to match the peppy beats of the songs, Raamji Ki Chaal and Nagada Sang Dhol (the Gujarati folk dance number in the film). Also hear how Ranveer got those much-talked about six pack abs for the film by abstaining from salt and water.
The director hopes to engage listeners in the musical journey and the thought that went behind creating music for such a film. The movie, a tribute to Bhansali's mother, is his first story set in Gujarat and has a generous dose of Gujarati folk music, which will take you straight to the villages and lanes of the state. Three years of careful composing and live percussion recording promise to make the songs of the film stay with you for a long time to come.

There's more in store for fans — stay tuned to the station and you stand a chance to win Deepika's ghagra and Ranveer's kediya from the movie too!
