image There’s no easy way to admit this, but I am horrible with names.

I shake hands with someone I’ve just met, the person says his or her name, and within 10 seconds I’ve forgotten the name. And since I’ve just started a new job, I am beyond frustrated with my memory problem. Grrrrr.

As PR professionals, we all know the importance of building rapport and maintaining relationship with clients. That can be difficult when you can’t remember the name of the guy sitting next to you at lunch.

Never fear. There are plenty of techniques and tricks from business pros and memory experts to help you remember names. Below is a brief

image On the heels of its first-quarter earnings report, Twitter seems to be struggling to keep its users active. The social-media service added 14 million active users, up about 6 percent from the previous quarter, but not as much as some analysts would have liked.

Twitter now counts 255 million active users; Facebook has over 1 billion active users. Keep in mind that an active user as someone who logs into their account once a month, not someone who’s necessarily tweeting regularly.

So what to do if you are one of many that set up a Twitter account and abandoned it? Dust off that handle, and give it another try.

According to sources, this is the "new Harry" who is behaving the way the Royal Family wants him to, by acting more maturely and not be seen staggering out of clubs, the Daily Star reported.

The 29-year-old royal was so eager to see the 24-year-old former dance student that he flew home early after his 'Walking With The Wounded Antarctic' trek last month.

image Los Angeles, Dec 24 : Hollywood actor Steve Martin has issued a public apology after posting a racially offensive joke on microblogging site Twitter.

The "Father of the Bride" star was recently making a series of gags about grammar on Twitter when one fan asked him, "Is this how you spell lasonia?"

Martin reportedly replied: "It depends. Are you in an African-American neighbourhood or at an Italian restaurant?" reports femalefirst. co. uk.

This made a number of fans criticise him for the bad joke, and he later deleted the tweet and issued an apology, writing: "I did apologise. But again, a second later I realised

image On the morning of my mother’s funeral, I wrote the following paragraph for the original, first edition of this book:

My mother passed away a couple of days, actually nights ago, and the viewing was last night; the memorial service will be in about four hours from now, this morning. It is 6:00 A.M. And here I am, at the keyboard, in my home office, writing. That’s what I do almost every day, for at least the first early hour of the morning, no matter what. And that’s the answer to how I can have five books in bookstores, a sixth and seventh hitting early in 1996, be under contract for an eighth for 1997, write my monthly newsletters, and so on.

image     We all have things that we want to achieve in our lives -- getting into the better shape, building a successful business, raising a wonderful family, writing a best-selling book, winning a championship, and so on.

And for most of us, the path to those things starts by setting a specific and actionable goal. At least, this is how I approached my life until recently. I would set goals for classes I took, for weights that I wanted to lift in the gym, and for clients I wanted in my business.

What I’m starting to realize, however, is that when it comes to actually getting things done and making progress in the areas that are important to you,

In this edited excerpt, the author explains the importance of the content you're posting on social media and how you can get your hands on more of it.

On your social media pages, there are at least 1,000 ways to get people to engage, such as asking questions, offering daily tips, or posting quotes and fun facts. image Washington:  President Barack Obama's disapproval rating has hit a record high, due mainly to the disastrous debut of his health care law, an NBC  News-Wall Street Journal poll released on Wednesday said.

A total of 54 percent of those surveyed disapprove of how he is doing his job, which is the highest mark in his presidency. That is up from 51 percent in late October, said the survey.

The numbers are also dismal on specific aspects of his leadership.

Only 28 percent give Obama high grades for being able to achieve goals, which is down 16 points from January.

And 37 percent give him high marks for being honest and str

image New Delhi:  Now that we are done falling over each other to congratulate the Aam Aadmi Party and showering them with largely-deserved laurels, we can perhaps spend some time to analyse what the AAP phenomenon means for politics in India.

That this was a stunning debut cannot be denied, but it's not unique in the Indian political context. NT Rama Rao and his Telegu Desam had a far more impressive debut winning a massive majority in his first attempt and VP Singh fought a national campaign as "Mr Clean", promising to clean up the system if brought to power.

VP Singh came a cropper almost as soon as he started and the Telegu Desam remained confin
