The Monarch Group was set up in the year 1988 and from the past 22 years, the group has diversified into many fields and has made successful investments in strategic ventures outside its main business. Primarily based in Bangalore, the company is aggressively positioned to grow in the coming years. With an early focus on Construction & Development, The Monarch Group in its own strength has completed 8 buildings which roughly contributed to One Million Square Feet of built up area in prime areas of Bangalore. In the year 2000, a decision was taken to launch The Monarch Hotel at Brigade Road, this venture has to this date has served over 200,000 guests. Further diversification into the Hospitality sector came with the opening of The Monarch Luxur Hotel at Infantry Road, currently in its 3rd year of operation. Currently, the organisation is headed by Mr. Dawood Mohammed (Salim) as Managing Director and CEO of all Group Companies.
