SWAGAT HOSPITAL AND RESEARCH CENTRE was established 6th November, 2003 and was inaugurated officially by then honorable education minister state) Assam Mr.RUPAM SINGH RONGHANG. It is great pride to express that by now, this hospital has been very useful health service provider in an around Bongaigaon, BTAD area Dhubri, Goalpara and Barpeta districts. It has earned very good name from the people and the communities. Swagat Hospital and Research centre started its venue of giving service to the people from 6 bed hospital to present capacity of 50 beds and has up as a multi specialty hospital with the departments Accidents and Emergency, internal medicine, general medicine, pediatrics, critical care( both adult & neonatal ICU), Obstetrics and Gynocology, Opthalmology, ENT, Pathology, Radiology. The IVF & ART, CT scan are on the process of installation. I feel very proud of my hospitals consultants, resident doctors, nurses and other paramedical staff & management staff, for whom the hospital has been identified as the first rate hospital in the region.
