Nalanda International School takes its name and inspiration from the famous Nalanda, the world s first University in India with 2000 teachers and 10,000 students from all over South Asia. The School's architect Brinda Somaya has used exposed brick and an environment friendly design which has won international recognition (the LEAF - Leading European Architect's Award in 2006) to inform the architecture of the School.
