Modular kitchens are not just sleek, but also very practical, feels actress and TV show host Tara Sharma. "Our kitchen at home is, in a way, a mix of both a regular kitchen and a modular one. I like to place things my way often. So, in our home we have a mix of both — part modular, part our arrangement."

Kitchen decor for her is, "Practical and hopefully cool!" She has appliances in her kitchen that are mainly silver and black. "There are little sunflower tiles and pictures to make the area cheerful and a refrigerator door full of magnets from our travels," says Tara.

There is a bright orange wall in her kitchen that makes it look cheery, and the black and white flooring balances it well.
